About

This is Basil’s research page. It includes references to models and simulations for various mobility modes and highly complex scenarios, developed for research and deployed in running applications and consultancy. It lists new methods for travel demand, flow and behavior estimation for future design studies and scenarios, agent-based and detailed aggregated. Beside that, this page includes teaching references focusing on transport models, scenario development, and transport network design.

Main topics

  • Multimodal trips and dependencies between existing and also new modes (e.g. autonomous vehicles).
  • Development of transport models and discrete choice models, with land use interaction, with agent-based and aggregated scope, for running applications.
  • Development of discrete and continuous design and optimization tools for e.g. sustainability goals, related to network design and transport models (networks, intersections, flows).
